기상청은 "새벽까지 전국 대부분 지역에 비가 내리겠고, 많은 지역에서 도로 살얼음과 빙판길이 나타날 것으로 보인다"고 예보했다.
비는 오전 6시까지 전국 대부분 지역에서 이어진다. 경상권 동부는 오전 9시까지, 제주도는 오후 6시까지 비가 내리는 곳이 있다. 오전부터 밤 사이 동해안과 부산·울산 지역을 중심으로 0.1㎜ 미만 빗방울이 떨어지는 곳도 있다.

기상청에 따르면 예상 적설량은 경기 북부 내륙 15㎝, 강원 중·북부 내륙과 산지 27㎝, 강원 남부 산지 1~3㎝다.
예상 강수량은 서울·인천·경기, 서해5도 510㎜, 강원 내륙·산지 510㎜, 강원 동해안 5㎜ 미만, 대전·세종·충남 520㎜, 충북 510㎜, 광주·전남, 전북 520㎜, 부산·울산·경남, 대구·경북, 울릉도·독도 520㎜, 제주도 5~20㎜다.
◆ 아침 최저 -210도…미세먼지 '좋음보통'
기상청은 "비나 눈이 내리는 지역에서는 가시거리가 짧고 도로가 미끄러운 곳이 많겠다"며 "특히 밤사이 기온이 낮아지면서 내린 비나 눈이 얼어 빙판길과 도로 살얼음이 발생할 가능성이 높으니 교통안전과 보행자 안전에 각별한 주의가 필요하다"고 당부했다.
아침 최저기온은 -210도, 낮 최고기온은 413도로 예상된다. 기온은 평년과 비슷하거나 다소 높다. 하늘은 전국이 대체로 흐리고, 서쪽 지역을 중심으로 오후부터 구름이 많아진다.
주요 지역 아침 최저기온은 서울 1도, 인천 2도, 수원 1도, 춘천 0도, 강릉 6도, 청주 4도, 대전 3도, 전주 5도, 광주 7도, 대구 5도, 부산 10도, 제주 11도다. 낮 최고기온은 서울 6도, 인천 5도, 수원 6도, 춘천 6도, 강릉 10도, 청주 7도, 대전 7도, 전주 8도, 광주 9도, 대구 10도, 부산 13도, 제주 12도다.

The KMA urged, "In areas with rain or snow, visibility will be short and roads will be slippery in many places. Especially as temperatures drop overnight, rain or snow may freeze, creating icy roads and black ice, so extra caution is needed for traffic and pedestrian safety."
Morning low temperatures are expected at -2 to 10°C, and afternoon highs at 4 to 13°C. Temperatures are similar to or slightly higher than average. Skies will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with increasing clouds in western areas from the afternoon.
